Dr. Kirk L. Smick is Chief of Optometry Services at Clayton Eye Center in Atlanta, Georgia, which he founded in 1974. This extremely busy and successful practice now employs 107 team members with 9 optometrists and 4 ophthalmologists.
Dr. Smick has served in many official capacities during his professional career. He is past president of the Georgia Optometric Association, the Georgia State Board Examiners in Optometry and the Southern Council of Optometrists.
Dr. Smick is a frequent lecturer in the US and abroad and currently serves as Chairman of the Continuing Education Committee for the International Vision Expo Meetings. Besides this role, he also works as an Advisor for several optical companies.
